Kolkata, A chemical factory in south Kolkata was hit by a fire on Wednesday. There is no news of any casualties in this accident. The police gave information about this. Smoke was seen outside at the station’s factory in the area at 10:30 am, where aluminum powder used to make crackers was stored in large quantities.
In order to overcome the fire, 10 fire fighters were called, who partly controlled the situation after more than four hours of jadodhad.
A fireman said that after coming into contact with water the chemicals in the fire started spreading rapidly.
Insufficient explanations of the explosion inside the factory were also heard.
He said, “Aluminum powder was kept to make fireworks for Diwali.”
